The first step to creating this fun Easter DIY gift idea is going to be to paint your empty egg carton.

I chose yellow but you can choose whatever color you love.

Complete painting your egg carton.

CRICUT MACHINE

Secondly, you can use your Cricut machine to cut out lettering.

If you don’t have a Cricut machine you can purchase alphabet stickers from Dollar Tree.

Be creative in what you have in using creating lettering.  I have an older Cricut machine so I used that.  I printed out a HAPPY EASTER to glue to the top of the egg carton.

You can also add any other decor pieces to your egg carton.  I choose a simple Easter egg sticker.

Thirdly you are going to take your cupcake liner.

Cut into the side to open it up.

Finally cut out the circular part of the liner

GLUE

In conclusion, you will glue the two sides of the cupcake liner together at the edges.

Then take your glued cupcake holders, Easter grass, candy, and egg carton and put together your DIY Easter gift.

Fill in your candy inside of the egg carton.
